Salamander Super A is a high quality ceramic bonded clay graphite crucible manufactured by plastic forming techniques. It is used to provide consistent performance in fuel-fired furnaces and medium/high frequency induction furnaces.
Salamander Super A crucibles feature excellent thermal conductivity keeping metal from cooling too rapidly and accommodating temperatures up to 1600°C (2912°F). They are made of natural flake graphite and silicon carbide bonded with fine clay; lined with mullite for long life.
