Activated alumina is a highly porous, white, crystalline material that is made from aluminum oxide. It is often used as an adsorbent and as a useful filter aid in the winterization process.
The high surface area of activated alumina gives it the ability to selectively remove the unwanted fats, chlorophyll, wax and color from cannabis extracts.
