Technical grade — AKA Liver of Sulfur or Potassium polysulfide.

Sulfurated potash is a yellow to reddish-brown solid that is soluble in water and decomposes upon exposure to air. It has a characteristic odor of rotten eggs.

Applications...

  • Agriculture: Sulfurated potash is used as a fertilizer to improve crop yields. It is also used to control pests and diseases.
  • Photography: Sulfurated potash is used in the production of black and white photographic paper. It is also used in the development of photographic film.
  • Rubber: Sulfurated potash is used in the production of rubber. It helps to improve the strength and durability of rubber products.
  • Dyes: Sulfurated potash is used in the production of dyes. It helps to improve the colorfastness of dyed fabrics.
