This laboratory cork ring is made of molded agglomerated cork and has a concave recess and beveled edge. It is used to hold round bottom flasks, beakers and other glass containers snuggly to ensure against breakage. Laboratory cork rings are heat resistant and therefore withstand very high temperatures.
