Our MTC Bio Erlenmeyer Shaker Flasks are crafted from durable polycarbonate, making them the ideal choice for shaker culture applications, as well as liquid handling and storage. Equipped with polypropylene screw caps featuring 0.2µm hydrophobic vent membranes, these flasks promote optimal air exchange to support enhanced cell growth. The flasks are designed with a mouth size that meets international SBS (Society for Biomolecular Screening) standards, ensuring seamless compatibility with a wide variety of laboratory equipment for greater versatility and efficiency across numerous applications.
These shaker flasks feature baffled, indented bottoms that minimize vortex formation, ensuring consistent and even mixing of the culture medium, even at lower shaking speeds. They are autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi for 30 minutes. Each flask, regardless of size, is individually wrapped and gamma sterilized to an SAL of 10⁻⁶. Additionally, all flasks are guaranteed free of RNase, DNase, pyrogens, endotoxins, and human DNA, ensuring the highest standards of purity.
