This Vigreux condenser is made of borosilicate, heat-resistant glass. The series of downward-pointing indentations on the inside wall increase the condensing surface.
The condenser's indentation length is 120mm (4.75") long. The top, bottom and side arm opening are 24/40 ground glass. Overall length is 11".
A Vigreux Condenser is usually used for fractional distillations using it as a fractionating column.
